The Gospel According to Velvet Hellraiser

My name is Chloe. I’m an Irish oil painter, leather painter, and photographer.

Always with an urge to create, I came up as a Fashion Photographer and Graphic Designer in my early career. After many years of working in the Dublin fashion industry being creative for others, I completed an MA in Illustration which gave me the drive to properly launch Velvet Hellraiser. I finally began to direct my energy to something of my own, melding my creative background to birth my very own gothic barbie dream-house brand of fashion, photography, and oil painting.

I use irreverent and gothic subjects in oils, photograph ecclesiastical imagery I'm obsessed with, and take second-hand leather and lovingly destroy it with paint until it’s a unique piece of one-of-a-kind wearable art.

Everything here has been through my creative hand. Whether it's a print for your wall or a “bimbo” bag, it's a piece of hangable/wearable blasphemy.
