The Gospel According to Velvet Hellraiser

My name is Chloe. I'm an oil painter, leather painter, and photographer based in Ireland. 

Always with an urge to create, and came up as a Fashion Photographer and Graphic Designer in my early 20's. After many years of working for others, I completed an MA in Illustration which gave me the drive to properly launch Velvet Hellraiser. I finally began to direct my energy to something of my own, melding the worlds of my background together to create my very own gothic barbie dream-house of photography and painting.

I irreverent and gothic subjects in oils, photograph ecclesiastical imagery I'm obsessed with, and take second-hand leather and lovingly destroy them until they're unique pieces wearable blasphemy.

Everything here has been through my creative hand. Whether it's a print for your wall or one of the rare painted leathers, it's a piece of hangable/wearable blasphemy.
