Hand-painted fashion:

 

What am I actually buying? A carefully curated sustainable piece of wearable art, cleaned up and hand painted to become a Velvet Hellraiser piece. Note that all hand painted second hand or vintage items are used, meaning wear is expected at varying degrees. Please read product descriptions carefully and take your time in inspecting photographs. If you want to know more about an item in advance of purchasing, ask me in Confession.

Are the luxury brand items you sell real (Louis Vuitton etc)? When it comes to our Luxury products, authenticity is important. No fakes. Though I am "destroying" these designer pieces in these scenarios, I take authenticity seriously. Each second hand luxury piece undergoes authentication by an external third party, such as Vestiaire Collective, a luxury second-hand marketplace which offers a fee provided authentication service. Opting into this additional step adds a fee to me sourcing these pieces, but ensures that any luxury item I sell is a genuine luxury item. I believe in transparency, trust, and going the extra mile with my genuine luxury canvases.

 

Where do you get your thrifted pieces? Vinted, Vestiaire Collective, charity shops, markets. I hand select every piece myself.

 

How is it painted? Angelus Leather paint. The piece is de-glazed, painted, and then set with a finisher. 

 

I'm vegan, is it only real leather you paint on? I paint on leather AND pleather/faux leather. Each piece is listed with it's condition and material carefully in the product description.

Photography and Oil Painting prints:

 

What am I actually buying? A high-quality print of my original artwork, either a hand-painted oil painting or a piece of my personal photography, reproduced on premium stock. Unless a listing says otherwise, you're buying a print, not the original.

 

Can I buy the original painting? Sometimes. Originals are one-of-a-kind and not always for sale. If you've fallen for a specific piece, ask me in Confession, and I'll tell you if it's available.

 

What size and paper are the prints? Most prints are 20 × 20 cm on 200 gsm glossy photo paper, unless the listing states different dimensions. Sizes are always noted on each product page.

 

Are they framed? No. All prints ship unframed, so you can choose a frame that suits your wall (and keep shipping cheap). 

 

How do I care for my print? Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from damp, and frame it behind glass to keep it pristine.

The Fine Print

 

Do you take commissions? If I like the idea. Get in touch via Confession with your idea, and I'll let you know if I can take it on.

 

Is any of the work NSFW? Yes, some of my illustrations are provocative or explicitly adult. Anything spicy is intended for adults only, and it's all clearly in the relevant collections.

 

How can I pay? Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and all major cards.
